I suspect I might never stop studying, partly due to be an almost all-round academic failure for most of my school career.I'm now on my second doctorate because I can't or won't stop compulsively finding out about things. My fields of geekery encompass sci-fi, English language and literature and my field of research, which is psychology. I'm about to qualify as a clinical psychologist, and am giving serious thought to training as a psychoanalyst next.

P.S. Both journal icons I use were made for me by dear, artistic friends - the red ghosts on black stained glass window is a sign for a few semiotic ghosts, as designed for me by Daniel Allington; the figure in the fog is the work of LJ user Coconutswirl.
